Machine tools and secondary equipment are portable to allow work cell construction and smooth flow throughout the shop. Each part is reviewed by engineering, production and tooling staff prior to manufacture to insure the most efficient and economical process. Quality Assurance staff perform first article inspections, review in process measurements and perform final inspections to guarantee conformance to print. CNC Multi-Axis Swiss Lathes Teton Machine Company utilizes Citizen swiss lathes. Because swiss lathes hold the tooling very close to the collet, they're capable of very tight tolerances and fine finishes. Teton's swiss lathes are equipped with magazine bar feeds for economical high production, gun drilling for tight tolerance deep holes and thread whirling for precision titanium work.
CNC Horizontal Machining Center Our horizontal machining center allows us to produce geometrically complex parts without re-fixturing the work piece. The massive tool magazine and pallet system allow us to avoid set-up time on repeat parts. The end result is consistent high quality and quick response time.
CNC Multi-Axis Vertical Machining Centers Teton Machine Company utilizes vertical machining centers from Mazak, Matsuura and Brother. Multi-axis machining centers utilize high RPM tools and multi-axis tool and fixture control to produce very complex shapes and fine surface finishes. Teton's machines are either equipped with fourth axis indexing capability or are fully fourth axis capable.
CNC Multi-Axis Lathes Teton Machine Company utilizes multi-axis lathes from Mazak and Hardinge. These lathes give Teton the capacity to work with material as large as ten inches in diameter. Sub spindles and live tooling allow complex shapes to be produced in one operation instead of involving several steps with increasing opportunities for error.
